Practitioner Profile:

Over two decades of service to this community as a pediatrician coupled with rigorous training in acupuncture enables me to help you experience the benefit of Eastern Medicine while respecting the tenets of Western Medicine. I graduated from medical school in 1970. I completed residency and fellowship in Pediatrics in Philadelphia in the early 1970’s and have practiced pediatrics in Phoenixville, Pa since 1981.

I earned a Master’s degree in Acupuncture in 2003 from Tai Sophia Institute in Maryland – a leading institution in this field. I have also been trained in using acupuncture for treating addiction. I received additional training during a hands-on course in Chinese medicine at the University of Southern California, and am licensed to practice acupuncture in Pennsylvania since 2002.

My technique includes use of gentle Five Element style acupuncture as well as non-insertive needling taught in the Toyohari method. I accept patients of all ages. Children are treated using non-insertive techniques.

Patients can also seek the benefit of Yoga and Shiatsu which is offered on site by experienced practitioners of these arts.
